If I rough turn an end grain bowl is there a high chance that the bottom will crack? Or am I better off finish turning the bowl? Bowl is 10"x3" roughly 1/2" thick. You sure get a lot of vibration with end grain bowls! I don't think my cheaper little chuck helps with the vibration. Almost time to get a larger chuck.
